According to the Letter of Confirming International Participants of the 2013 Local Cooperative Programs issued recently by China Scholarship Council (CSC) (LJF【2013】No.5045), two teachers of Hunan Women’s University got the scholarship of local programs of CSC. Ms. Peng Jianghong from the Department of Literature and Media, who was admitted by the international study program as a university administrating staff, will go to Australian National University for a three-month international study from September to December 2014. Ms. Li Fang from the Foreign Language Department, who was admitted by the international study program as a university English teacher, will go to University of Aberdeen in the United Kingdom for a six-month study from February to July 2014. In this March, the two teachers began to apply for the program and had the interview held by CSC in this July. After a series of selections, they were finally admitted by CSC, who will offer the tuition, scholarship, living expenses and return ticket fee for them within the fixed time during their study.<?xml:namespace prefix = o />

In the recent years, HWU emphasizes the internationalization of the teaching staff, trains young teachers with international perspectives and encourages the teachers to apply for the international program funded by CSC. By doing so, it is playing a positive role in expanding the international perspectives of the teaching staff, optimizing teaching structure of HWU, enhancing the teaching and researching competence of the teaching staff, and promoting the internationalization of Hunan Women’s University.
