During the week, the three music experts gave five vocal master classes, one violin master class and two piano master classes for the faculty and students admitted in 2012, 2013 and 2014.
Panel on Techniques for Teaching Applied Voice and Instruments
On the Panel on Techniques for Teaching Applied Voice and Instruments, the three experts shared their teaching experiences with the audience who were deeply impressed by their new conception of teaching.
Besides the master classes and the panel, six wonderful lectures on different topics were held. They were Gender in Music in the Western Canon by Dr. Anne Harley, Music by Music Composers and My Road to the Violin by Dr. Rachel Vetter Huang, Developing Piano Technique, History of the Piano and Piano Style Periods and Developing Expression and Artistry at the Piano by Prof. Gayle Blankenburg. The students had a highly charged discussion with three experts in each Q&A session.
