On the evening of June 8^th, 2016 before the Dragon Boat Festival, the Art Performance Department of Hunan Women’s University was invited to take part in the Celebration of Hunan-Hainaut Belgium’s 30^th Friendship Anniversary organized by the Hunan Provincial Government and HWU Traditional Orchestra is responsible for performing the traditional music of China.

The atmosphere of the celebration activity was warm and solemn. HWU Traditional Orchestra whose conductor is Prof. Zhuang Jianzhuang showed the participants 12 beautiful songs.

At the end of the celebration, Mr. Du Jiahao, governor of Hunan, and Tommy Leclercq, governor of Tainaut Belgium visited all the performers of our university on the stage.

Both governors highly praised the performers. Mr. Du Jiahao made a speech to encourage the students to work harder and strive for an opportunity to show the traditional Chinese music in Belgium one day.
