On May 12th, the launching ceremony of the National College Student Photography and Micro Film Competition with the theme of My Chinese Dream The Most Beautiful China was held in the Great Hall of the People.  Yang Yating, the World Urban Tourism Miss and an aviation service major of 2010 from Tourism Department of Hunan Women’s University was invited to the launching ceremony as the Image ambassador of this competition.

Mr. Chen Feiyue from Hunan Provincial Ministry of Education and the Committee of Hunan Province CPC and Mr. Qi Renjie, director of Hunan Education TV Station led the college students of Hunan to participate in the launching ceremony.

It is reported that under the guidance of Ministry of Education and Ministry of Netnews under National Internet Information Office, the activity was co-hosted by Wenhui Po, People’s Daily Online, Chinese College Student Online, Yiban Web and Hunan Education TV Station. Li Weihong deputy minister of education and Wang Xiujun deputy director of the State Council Informatization Office announced the start of this competition. Hundreds of student representatives from Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Shanaaxi and Hunan etc took part in the launching ceremony.

From now to October 31, 2013, the participants can submit their photography and micro film works through such official platforms as Chinese College Student Online, Yiban Web, People’s Daily Online, Wenhui Web, Hunan Education TV Station etc. In the end, more than 10 awards for example Most Beautiful China Award will be chosen and stand out.
