On Oct.31, 2017, the 9^th New Zealand Reading Festival and Hunan Cultural Week was held in Aotea Centre of Auckland New Zealand. During this week, “Arts China-Exhibition of Works of Hunan Artists” was also co-organized by Tangel (Beijing) Publishing Co,Ltd, Chinese Bookstore in New Zealand and New Zealand “One Belt One Road” Think Tank at the same time . It was also supported by the Publicity Department of Hunan Provincial Party Committee, People’s Press, Hunan Arts Press and some media in New Zealand.

More than 30 paintings created by 7 Hunan artists were displayed. Prof. Tan Zhiyong from Hunan Women’s University attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition and his paintings were appreciated by plenty of international viewers.
